Our Beliefs and Values

At the core of our beliefs is the conviction that there is one God who is the creator of everything we see around us. We also firmly believe in Jesus Christ, who is not only God's only Son but also our Lord. Additionally, we place great importance on the Holy Spirit, who is an integral part of the Trinity. These three entities are the source of all knowledge and wisdom.

Sacrifice
Jesus Christ, in his earthly form, came to us as a man untainted by sin and willingly gave up his life on the cross to atone for our sins. However, his story doesn't end there. On the third day, he triumphantly rose from the dead, demonstrating his power over sin and death itself.

Love
For those who have embraced Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit resides within them, providing guidance and fostering a closer connection with Jesus. The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in our lives, leading us on the path of righteousness and love.

Inspiration
We firmly believe that the Bible is not just a book, but God's own sacred Word. Though written by human authors, they were divinely inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit. It is through the Bible that we find all the truths necessary to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and share his message of love and salvation.

Separation
Humans were uniquely created by God in his own image, with the intention of having a deep and meaningful relationship with him. However, our own choices and actions often lead us astray, causing a separation between us and God's boundless love.

Salvation
God's ultimate plan is for all of humanity to witness his salvation. However, it is incumbent upon each individual to personally acknowledge their sins, repent, and have faith in Jesus. Through his saving grace, we find our way back to the Father and attain eternal salvation. Jesus Christ is the sole path to this redemption.

Chris is the Pastor at Zion Ionia, the father our four, grandfather of 10, and has a passion to preach the gospel in a way people can relate to and helping the homeless and poor in our community.

Worship Times

Community Outreach Ministries

At Zion Church Ionia, we are dedicated to serving and supporting the community of Ionia County through our outreach programs.

From the Zion Food Pantry, providing food assistance, to the Zion Soup Kitchen, offering free meals, and the Feeding America Mobile Truck Pantry, serving those in need, we strive to make a positive impact and build a stronger community.
